  2. Lil Rounds...we still love and believe in you. Like it was said this is just the beginning of a bright career for you. I don't have a lot of faith in American Idol anymore (that's just me). I think they stage most of this thing, if not all of it based on past winners. I now believe there are alot of politics involved in the outcomes. Lil was fantastic as a competitor and made to look like something else. I'd like to speak with the person advising her during the competition. Keep going Lil...It's not over.

    Luv Ya!

  4. Lil, I was in the music business in Memphis throughout the 60s and I know first-hand that you are extremely talented and hail from one of the finest musical cities in the USA. It is written in the stars that you and Memphis will become words rolling off of all tongues in the near future. I look forward to seeing you in the spotlight; Great Job, girl!

  7. I disagree with those who say the contest is political or biased. You seem to forget that the winners/losers are based on votes from the public. They are voting based on who they think are best it has nothing to do with Simon, Randy etc. The votes are validated and verified (to eliminate legal action challenging a vote fix).

Rounds lost because the public didn't think she was good enough and voted her out.

  8. I do not agree that she lost because she was not "good enough" that is stupid! I think her defensive nature rubbed people the wrong way. She is highly talented but she let the pressures of the show get to her and it was evident in her performances. We watched a truly confident singer turn into someone not so sure of herself. Lil, keep working hard to improve your craft...you are very talented and you actually had one of the best voices on the show, but hopefully you learned how to remain humble even in a very tough situation. These will be great lessons to teach your children about accepting direction. Your attitude came across as very unappreciative and negative. Unfortunately in an attempt to support you, your mother's face showed America that she too is a sore loser and does not want any one to direct you, and it came across as your being a spoiled brat. Not saying that you are, but appearances are everything. I still think you are great and as a singer you are a POWERHOUSE!Hopefully you will use what you have learned to start a very positive and productive career. God Bless you in your future endeavors. NECHELLE

  9. To the person who said that the public voted her off! You are totally wrong...America voted for her big time she even beat out Adam! They had to get her off the show because they already know who they want to win.Yea we thought that our votes mean something too.....not! When its said and done Simon and crew have the last say!

  10. For you to claim the person who said the public voted her of is wrong, you must know something the rest of us don't. Do you have proof the voting is rigged? What is the source of this proof? Do you work for the show? Have you been a member of an investigative party that has scruitinzed the program or network? Making allegations you cannot substantiate can get you in trouble. I too agree that the public voted her off and she just didn't appeal as much as the other contestants.

  11. Lil i wish you the best in your future, don't give up. Jennifer hudson finished 7th place in her season and look where she is now, shes more popular than anyone of her season, and so can you. When you become more famous than all the season 8 idols everyone will be like "Oh lil should have won season 8 what were we thinking". IF any opportunity comes your way SNATCH IT before someone else gets it. I can't wait for your album! And remember some african american female artists like lakisha jones, Melinda doolittle, Latoya london, Syesha mercado have all made it in the top 4 but none of them are as successful as jennifer hudson who was top 7 so live your dream girl!
