Disco Week!

Should Lil "Young it up a little" or remain musically versatile?

I've followed Lil from day one. She has a contagious spirit and smile to match. The American Idol judges have told her over and over to stick to her R & B roots and bring the soulful vibe back to the stage and this will pretty much guarantee her pass to the top each week. Is Lil loosing her young vibrant personality and soulful spunk with her song selections and fashion statements (hair & outfits)? Or do you think she is just being skillfully versatile and trying to show America that she has more to offer than what's stereotypically expected of her?

What did you think of Lil's performance last night?

Motown should have been the night for Lil to shine. Her heart led her to do a tribute to the stars that paved the way, but the song didn't let her vocals soar. There is no doubt Lil can really sing, but do you think she could've chosen a better song for last night's occasion?

R-n-B and Country are like oil and water.... but Lil mixed them well! What advice can you give Lil if she should face comments like this from the judges again? You have the skills Lil! Did you like Lil's outfit?

Lil's performance was hot tonight! She did Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel" real justice. The only critic however was her outfit. Simon was a little outspoken and thought her outfit was awful. What do you think?

Lil Rounds was absolutely "Brilliant" tonight! She was by far the best performer of the night. But there are still many critics out there who say that her performance was "terrible", or "off key"! What could you possibly say to the "unbelievers" :) ?
